Interaction Entertainment Inc. is looking for the 5 lead performers for its tween musical group, “Jump Kids”. If selected, you will be hired to take part in the debut West Coast tour with the intention of further Canadian tours and possible crossover to other forms of media.
Audition entries should be no longer than 1.5 minutes in length and include singing the “Jump” theme song (lyrics and melody provided) as well as demonstrating dancing and performance ability. Have fun with it!
The Competition will proceed as follows:
- Entries will be accepted for consideration from March 16, 2009
- The deadline to submit entries will be 11:59pm (PST) July 15, 2009
- Fans will be able to recommend their favourite Entries to their friends and families and ”most viewed”, “comments” and other similar information will be available on the website but will only be a factor by the judges and Producer in determining the winning audition Entries.
- Finalists will be revealed on the site and will be contacted via phone to participate in the Final Audition process.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
Beginning, March 16, 2009, you can fill out an application form and parental consent form and upload your audition to the website. If you wish to mail in your audition, download the application form and send to:

Only Entries completed with this application form will be considered.
To be valid, all Entries must be received by 11:59 pm (PST), July 15, 2009
SELECTION PROCESS
Entry phase:
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that their Entries comply with the Contest rules. Interaction Entertainment Inc. has the right to remove any content that they believe to be inappropriate, (eg. Sexually explicit, defamation, invasion of privacy etc.).
Judging criteria: The winning auditions will be those applicants that portray superior singing, dancing and acting ability in addition to portraying maturity, professionalism and sincerity. Winners will be required to conduct themselves in a way that is becoming to the Jump Kids Musical values and ethos.
Choosing the Semi-finalists:
No more than 20 semi finalists will be chosen by the Producer and independent panel of judges to take part in the Ultimate Final Audition. Website voters ratings and comments will definitely be taken into consideration.
The Winners:
Will be chosen from the Ultimate Final Audition to take place in Vancouver, BC (June, exact date TBA) and possibly other major Canadian cities within a public arena ie. Shopping Centre.
Conditions of Eligibility:
The competition is open to all Canadians and Canadian residents between the ages of 10 and 15 yrs old.
Entrant has not and will not enter into any commercial or sponsorship agreement with any person or company with regards to the entrant’s participation in this Competition unless previously authorized by Interaction Entertainment Inc.
GENERAL RULES
Interaction Entertainment Inc. reserves the right to change the duration, timing process or any other aspect of this audition competition.
- Interaction Entertainment reserves the right to change or amend the competition rules.
- All entrants agree that Interaction Entertainment Inc. may use, exploit, reproduce and distribute in any media, the entrants name, image, likeness, vocals, comments or appearances either in whole or in part in perpetuity, without further consent or compensation.
- All entrants must complete the application form as well as the parental/guardian consent attesting to their eligibility and acceptance of the rules and regulations.
- All information requested by Interaction Entertainment Inc. must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
- Interaction Entertainment Inc. will assume no liability for any direct or indirect damages that result from the use of this website or inability to use the website nor for any property damage or losses to computer equipment, now or in future, as a result of either an entrant’s attempt at participating in this Competition or downloading information from this website
